Crystals and Oscillators at 32.768kHz are primarily used in real time clock applications. The industry has standardized on 32.768 kHz as it divides down to 1Hz which can be easily translated to provide a clock signal with a 1 second time resolution, and is the best compromise between low frequency which results in low current consumption, and convenient to manufacture. We offer both Tuning fork crystals as well as AT-cut oscillators are 32.768KHz in a variety of sizes for your applications.
